Head Coach Cody Flournoy

Head Coach Cody Flournoy has been coaching for 23 years, the same amount of time that he has been married to his wife April. April teaches Business at Jackson High. They have 3 kids, Ansley (attending Troy University), Grady (attending Southern Union) and Adalyn, who are and have been involved in various sports and activities within the Jackson program. Coach Flournoy's first head coaching job came at Beulah High School where he led the Bobcats to an 8-3 record in 2018 and was awarded the ALFCA 3A Coach of the Year. Coach Flo's 2024 Jackson Aggie team won the 4A State Championship. At Jackson, Coach serves as the Athletic Director and assists in track and field. Coach Flournoy is a native of East Alabama, graduating from Smiths Station High School. He attended and played football at UAB in Birmingham, earning his Bachelor's in Political Science. He received his teaching degree and Masters in Education from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia.
