Jackson High School Library

Michele Taylor is Jackson High School's Library Media Specialist. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama and the University of West Alabama. She has been an educator for over twenty years. JHS' library operates on a flexible schedule, opening at 7:15 am until 3:15 pm. Our mission is to provide a friendly, welcoming place for students, teachers and staff to effectively and freely pursue current library resources in a variety of formats. The library is a place where patrons have the opportunity to successfully access, evaluate, and use literature, information and technology to support student achievement. The library’s goal is to also help students develop a life-long love of reading.
